Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLMP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GLMP data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GLMP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLMP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and KIRP are the cancer types where GLMP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
