Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLIDR RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GLIDR data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher GLIDR RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLIDR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and KIRC show a favorable association.
MESO, KIRC, and BRCA are the cancer types where GLIDR RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
