Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GLB1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher GLB1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where GLB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
