Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GIT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GIT1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher GIT1 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GIT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, KICH, and LGG are the cancer types where GIT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
