Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GIP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GIP data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher GIP Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where GIP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
