Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GGT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GGT1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher GGT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GGT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

KIRC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where GGT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
