Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GFOD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GFOD2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher GFOD2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GFOD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where GFOD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
