Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GFM2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GFM2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher GFM2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GFM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LIHC show a favorable association.
ACC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where GFM2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
