GFAP

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, GFAP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,909 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GFAP-associated genes across cancer lineages are CLU, CNTNAP1, and CFAP99. Each is linked with GFAP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GFAP-to-partner and partner-to-GFAP results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, GFAP versus CLU in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.56.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (GFAP→partner) and Y-score (partner→GFAP) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
