GFAP

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, GFAP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GFAP-associated genes across cancer lineages are TAAR8, SPATA31D1, and OPN4. Each is linked with GFAP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GFAP-to-partner and partner-to-GFAP results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, TAAR8 grouped by GFAP-low versus GFAP-high in LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (GFAP→partner) and Y-score (partner→GFAP) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
