Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GDPD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GDPD2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher GDPD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GDPD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM, COAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where GDPD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
