Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GCM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GCM1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher GCM1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GCM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, COAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where GCM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
