GCAT

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, GCAT protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,899 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GCAT-associated genes across cancer lineages are FADS1, TGFA-IT1, and MC1R. Each is linked with GCAT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GCAT-to-partner and partner-to-GCAT results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, GCAT versus FADS1 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.53.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (GCAT→partner) and Y-score (partner→GCAT) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
