Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GBX2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GBX2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GBX2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GBX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LIHC, and PRAD are the cancer types where GBX2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
