Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GBP4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GBP4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher GBP4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GBP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where GBP4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
