Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GBGT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GBGT1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher GBGT1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GBGT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, PRAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where GBGT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
