Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GATD3A RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GATD3A data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher GATD3A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GATD3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and BLCA show a favorable association.
STAD, ACC, and UCS are the cancer types where GATD3A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
