Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAS2L1P2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GAS2L1P2 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher GAS2L1P2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GAS2L1P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and SKCM show a favorable association.

CESC, SKCM, and UVM are the cancer types where GAS2L1P2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
