Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GAS2 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher GAS2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GAS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
SARC and BLCA are the cancer types where GAS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
