Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GARS1-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GARS1-DT data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher GARS1-DT RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GARS1-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and PAAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, KICH, and COAD are the cancer types where GARS1-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
