Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAPDHS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GAPDHS data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher GAPDHS Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GAPDHS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, UCEC, and CESC are the cancer types where GAPDHS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
