Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GAN data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher GAN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GAN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
COAD, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where GAN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
