GAMTP2

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAMTP2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of GAMTP2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where GAMTP2 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types GAMTP2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRC, KIRP, and THCA are the cancer types where GAMTP2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
