Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GALNT11 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GALNT11 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher GALNT11 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GALNT11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where GALNT11 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
