Across TCGA cell cohorts, GAL RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,852 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GAL-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of glucocorticoid secretion, Regulation of cortisol secretion, and Positive regulation of cortisol secretion. Each is linked with GAL in more than 17 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GAL-to-partner and partner-to-GAL results are reported.
