Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GAD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GAD1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher GAD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GAD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

CESC, COAD, and PCPG are the cancer types where GAD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
