Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GABRD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GABRD data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher GABRD Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GABRD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

KICH, LUSC, and SARC are the cancer types where GABRD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
