Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GABARAPL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GABARAPL1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher GABARAPL1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GABARAPL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC are the cancer types where GABARAPL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
