Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, G6PD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated G6PD data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher G6PD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated G6PD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and COAD are the cancer types where G6PD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
