Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FYTTD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FYTTD1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher FYTTD1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FYTTD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where FYTTD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
