Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FXYD5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FXYD5 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher FXYD5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FXYD5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, BLCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where FXYD5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
