Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FXYD2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FXYD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher FXYD2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FXYD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
CCRCC and PDAC are the cancer types where FXYD2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
