Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FXYD1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FXYD1 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher FXYD1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FXYD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and UCS show a favorable association.
KIRP, LUAD, and UCS are the cancer types where FXYD1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
