Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FUT4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FUT4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher FUT4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FUT4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
DLBC, ESCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where FUT4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
