Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FTSJ1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FTSJ1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher FTSJ1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FTSJ1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
COAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where FTSJ1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
