Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FTH1P5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FTH1P5 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher FTH1P5 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FTH1P5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and DLBC show a favorable association.
KICH, KIRP, and UCEC are the cancer types where FTH1P5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
