Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FSTL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FSTL1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher FSTL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FSTL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where FSTL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
