Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FSD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FSD1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher FSD1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FSD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, COAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where FSD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
