Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FRYL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FRYL data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher FRYL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FRYL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, STAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where FRYL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
