Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FRMD8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FRMD8 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FRMD8 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FRMD8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC and SCLC are the cancer types where FRMD8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
