Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FPGT mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FPGT data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher FPGT mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FPGT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
PDAC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where FPGT mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
