Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FOXN3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FOXN3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher FOXN3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FOXN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
CHOL, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where FOXN3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
