Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FOXC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FOXC1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher FOXC1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FOXC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
DLBC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where FOXC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
