Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FNDC4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FNDC4 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher FNDC4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FNDC4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where FNDC4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
