Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FMO9P Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FMO9P data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher FMO9P Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FMO9P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA are the cancer types where FMO9P Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
