Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FKBP9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FKBP9 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher FKBP9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FKBP9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, KICH, and PCPG are the cancer types where FKBP9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
