Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FIS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FIS1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher FIS1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FIS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, GBM, and SKCM are the cancer types where FIS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
