Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FILIP1L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FILIP1L data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FILIP1L Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FILIP1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, STAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where FILIP1L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
