Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FHOD3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FHOD3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FHOD3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FHOD3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where FHOD3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
