Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FHL5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FHL5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher FHL5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FHL5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where FHL5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
